Check on IRCTC Website

1. Go to irctc.co.in
2. Enter "From" and "To" stations
3. Select journey date
4. Choose class (optional filter)
5. Click "Search"
6. View all available trains with seat status

Understanding Seat Status

• Available: Seats ready to book
• Waitlist (WL): Depends on cancellations
• RAC: Reservation Against Cancellation
• Not in Reservation: Class not available for this train

Real-Time Status

Availability changes constantly as bookings are made. Refresh to see updated seat status.

Tips

• Check first thing in the morning
• Look for alternate trains
• Try different classes
• Consider Tatkal if unavailable
