How to Cancel Train Ticket

  1. Login to IRCTC website or mobile app
  2. Go to "My Bookings"
  3. Find your booking and click "Cancel Ticket"
  4. Select which passenger(s) to cancel
  5. Confirm cancellation
  6. Refund will be credited to your account

Important Cancellation Rules

  • Charges are deducted from refund amount
  • Can cancel only confirmed or RAC bookings
  • Cannot cancel individual passengers from confirmed booking
  • Refund processed to your payment mode
  • Takes 7-10 days to reflect in bank account
  • No refund for no-show (missed train)
